Gig Whore Concert Review - Michael Insuaste - “The Intemperate Sons consist of a father, two sons and a bassist, so right off I had my doubts. Fronted my Max Watson on vocals and guitar, Jake Watson guitar, father Keith Watson on drums and Mark Marks on bass. A fairly new group formed in 2019, I was taken back a bit because the four piece had a tight polished sound with a few decent original rock tunes. Trading guitar leads, brothers Max and Jake mixed well together throughout the set. The groove was good, the rhythm was tight and song by song you can see this band have done their homework.”
Highwire Daze - Ken Morton - “The Intemperate Sons were the perfect support act for Tantric. Visiting the Sunset Strip all the way from their Dallas, TX homebase, The Intemperate Sons rocked The Whisky with an absolutely blistering set of auditory entreaties. Fans of acts such as Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and even Tantric are sure to discover a brand-new favorite band when checking into what The Intemperate Sons has to offer the world at large.
Consisting of family members Keith Watson (drums), Jake Watson (guitars) and Max Watson (vocals, guitars, keys) along with close friend Mark Marks on a very groovy bass – this Lone Star State quartet really rocked it out here in the City of Angels! With superbly memorable songs and the stage presence to back it all up, it won’t be long until The Intemperate Sons explode into the big time! Hope to see this band back on the Sunset Strip soon!”
